A 60-second check before you buy online
Updated October 30, 2026
Most buying regrets come from something that was on the page all along. These seven checks take about a minute, and they catch nearly every one of them.
- The total, not the tag. Price plus shipping plus sales tax for your ZIP. The lowest tag is often not the lowest total.
- The exact item. The same model number or UPC, size, color and generation as the one you meant.
- The condition. New, open-box, refurbished or used, and any grade the store gives it.
- Who is selling it. The store itself or a marketplace seller. It can change the warranty and the returns.
- When it arrives. The delivery date, or whether pickup today is possible near you.
- The return window. How many days you have, and who pays for return shipping.
- The warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty, the store’s, or none, and how long it lasts.
Where KeepHawk helps
KeepHawk shows the first five on every offer: the real total for your ZIP, the item, its condition and grade, the store, and pickup or delivery when the store says. The return window and the warranty are on the store’s own page, one click away.
